Wolverhampton Christmas lights switch on 2018
There are plenty of family friendly light switch on events to attend this year, with dates and venues to suit everyone. Some of the details are still yet to be confirmed, but here’s what you should be looking out for in the next couple of months…
The big light switch on is happening at 6:30pm, with special guests taking part such as the Mayor, jack and the beanstalk pantomime cast, The Gruffalo and British Citizen Youth Award Winner Louis Johnson.
Find thrilling entertainment such as a free radio roadshow, fair rides, firework display, real reindeer and a visit from Santa Claus.

High Street Wednesfield (TBC)
The Mayor will be turning on the lights at High Street Wednesfield this year with the help of Santa Claus. Entertainment and activities start at 4pm, but the light switch on will be at 5:30pm.

Events start at 5:30pm, including Christmas carols, music from Signal 107 Radio, festive markets on Church street, Santa’s Grotto and Santa’s Sleigh Procession. The big switch on will take place at 6:30pm with the Mayor and The Fizzoggs.

Tettenhall Upper Green (TBC)

Bantock House and Park (TBC)
Festive fun, fair rides and traditional music begin at 5pm at Bantock House Museum. Meet and greet Santa Claus between 5 – 6:15pm before he joins the Mayor for the light switch on at 6:30pm.
